CESSMIR is dedicated to interdisciplinary research, education and societal outreach on migration, refugees, and ethno-cultural diversity, with the ambition to contribute to a more inclusive and just society. For us, collaboration with non-academic partners is essential to achieve this societal impact.
In June 2025, we organised an advisory board meeting in Ghent, in Dutch, tailored to our local network. To complement this, we are now preparing an online International Advisory Board meeting in English this fall, especially for our national, European, and international partners. Peer translations to for example Dutch, French or Spanish can of course be provided if needed.
This meeting will be an opportunity to:
