Processing purposes

IDC CESSMIR – Ghent University collects and processes visitors’ personal data for visitor and order management (including visitor administration, follow-up of orders/deliveries, invoicing, solvency monitoring, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).

Legal grounds of processing

Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) necessary for the performance of a contract, (c) necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or (f) necessary for the protection of our legitimate business interests of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Insofar as processing of the personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. (a) consent, the visitor has the right to withdraw the consent given at any time.

Transfer to third parties

If necessary for the stated purposes, the visitors personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly connected with IDC CESSMIR – Ghent University or with any other partner of IDC CESSMIR – Ghent University.
