At CESSMIR, you find a dynamic network of researchers from various disciplines, together with strong non-academic partners. Join CESSMIR as an external affiliated member and help build sustainable partnerships with research groups worldwide and with the professional field. Are you a researcher from abroad temporarily residing in Ghent? CESSMIR welcomes international visitors interested in topics related to migration and social impact. We offer access to an active academic network, lectures, study days, and other activities. Contact us to discuss potential collaborations.
Do you work as a practitioner, policymaker and/or volunteer with migrants and refugees? Then you are an essential partner for us. Through practice oriented trainings, study days, thematic projects and our advisory board, we build bridges between knowledge and practice. Your experience and input are of great value to our research and educational initiatives.
Are you a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic academic environment with a focus on societal impact? At CESSMIR, you can do an internship and work on current projects related to migration and interdisciplinary research. We are looking for motivated students who want to develop their research talents or who want to strengthen our team with their communication skills. Whether you are mainly interested in research experience or communication, during your internship you will work closely with our team and have the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice.
